V-Tel asked: I’ve read an article by “William Crossman” that speaks about Voice-In/Voice-Out talking computers that will eventually replace reading, writing, and arthmitic. So what other new technologies will be commonplace to replace the old, out-dated education system currently in place. www.compspeak2050.org “The comming of talking computers”

Leo Lion asked: I just watched NBC’s “Dateline”, a story aired about a young woman raped in college, in a frat house. I hear about high tuition that bankrupts low income families. I see freaky drug scenes of college students on vacation. And my own personal experience back in the day was not very enchanting, or inspiring.
So, with the computer teaching us all we need to know, and with the slow degradation of our institutions, I ask…”What’s it worth?
Please, serious, thought out answers, because I don’t dish out ten pointers like candy.
The man who admitted raping the young woman became a real estate agent. I have a real estate license, and didn’t need to go to college for that.

Billie asked: Search engines are down on my computer. Is it a three part system like the US? (Elementary, Middle, High school?) If so, what are they called? When do kids start going to school, and how long do they have to go for? Is there law troubles for kids who miss too much? Plus any extra details you think go along with my questions.
Thanks!
Ida

brontefania asked: I am a secondary education student and my brother has to use the Plato program for LA and he hates it. I have been trying to find information about it, mainly reviews, and haven’t found anything that gives a good description of what it is and how educators feel about it. Could you please give me your opinion and where I can go to find more information?

If I can’t get a regular job after graduation, I plan on starting my own PC repair and custom computer building business.
